Favorites This Week

Here are some of my favorite things I found across the web this week:

These words.

Next Thursday marks the one year anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse that killed over 1000 garment workers and injured 2,500 more.   To bring awareness to sweatshops around the world April 24 is being declared Fashion Revolution Day.

Not sure what to wear this Sunday for Easter?  Just “forget the frock” and wear a tee that supports a cause!

Speaking of Easter, I happen to be a Christian, which makes this Sunday a bit more meaningful than all the others.  I love this new album Good Friday To Easter from Page CXVI that you can listen to for free at Relevant Magazine.

Aaaaaannd…one more because it’s cool: Wear This, Not That.  Want to know an ethical alternative for an un-ethical brand?  Fashioning Change can help you out!

Enjoy your weekend y’all!

      1. The link worked, but I couldn’t see any products without signing up. But all their social media posts seem to be old, so that’s why I was wondering if FashioningChange.com is still operating?

        1. Hmm…I did see you had to sign up to see some things but I was still able to view that page without signing up. Not sure if they still update the list I linked to. I am so sorry it’s causing problems for you!
